This article appeared in the Winston Salem Journal  Jan. 10, 2004 by Journal reporter  John Railey.   The article clearly reveals that the two parting denominations feel close bonds with each other even as serious concern continues over the leadership of the Moravian Church. Statement by PEC president Bob Sawyer that Leaders always emphasized that Jesus is the only way to salvation does not agree with official statement from the office of PEC.in Journal article May 16, 2002.
