from Pastor Luke Bell with numerous signatures from his congregation lead to
Pastor Bell's resignation in Aug, 2002 as he saw that PEC could not support him.

Olivet
Moravian Church
Aug 14, 2002
This letter was prepared and sent to Both the Northern
PEC and Southern PEC as well as the Faith and Order Commission by the Joint
Boards at the request of members of the Olivet congregation.
"The Joint Board of Olivet Moravian Church
believes that Jesus is the only way to God, the Father. We are to accept people
as Jesus accepts them, but we do not condone sin. We believe that
Scripture guides us concerning sin. According to Scripture, homosexuality is a
sin."
Rural Hall
Moravian Church
Feb 8, 2004
At its meeting on February 8,
2004, the Church Board of Rural Hall Moravian Church voted unanimously to
endorse and adopt for use here at RHMC the Colorado Statement on
Biblical Sexual Morality.
"Whether divorce,
premarital sex among teens, gambling, abortion, or a host of other moral
issues, the church is confused; and because of this confusion, is no longer
the salt-and-light influence to the world that Jesus called for it to be. The
ability of the Church to evangelize is being hampered because the lives,
attitudes and beliefs of Christians who claim to follow the Bible are
indistinguishable from those who don't believe."
