I am concerned that so many Moravians, who can no longer bear the Biblical vacuum and the spiritual insanity of our leadership, seem to trickle away, saved by grace but lost to the church.

Kinda Makes You Wonder...
...what they were thinking when leaders of the Southern Province of the Moravian Church posted a statement to its Web site that purported to be "A Moravian Understanding of 'Jesus is the only way to Salvation.'"

This message was posted on the official web site of the Southern Province after the announcement  that Truman Dunn would be allowed to remain as pastor but was removed as many laymen and ministers called to protest its message.
 Statement relates how we do not know that salvation through Christ  a lone is indeed a fact.  It suggest that we do not know what covenant we are to follow.

Letter from Rev. Truman Dunn to Clergy   
May 6, 2003

This message was delivered at recent ministers meeting where clergy were informed that PEC had allowed Rev. Dunn to remain as pastor. 
 Letter relates how Rev Dunn is in a different place theologically than he was a year ago.

Letter from PEC to Clergy   
May 26, 2003
The PEC of the Southern Province writes this letter to Clergy and churches to explain their decision on Rev. Truman Dunn's pastorate status in the Moravian Church. 
 Letter relates that PEC feels Truman Dunn has changed his views and he regrets that either the content or responses to the content of The Moses Lectures led to conflict and division.

Letter to congregations of Northern Province informing congregations that BMW staff remains steadfast and will not compromise their requests.  The staff resignations are accepted and request is made to increase the budget of BWM so that financial support can continue for resigning staff as they are encouraged to continue their work funded by the Moravian Church.
